Invited Session on Theories and Applications for

Distributed Network Security

Session Organizer: Prof. Tianhua Liu & Dr. Zhenhua Tan


         We are organizing a special session on Theories and Applications for Distributed Network Security for The fourth international conference on genetic and evolutionary computing 2010 (ICGEC 2010) which will be held in Shenzhen city in December 13-15, 2010. It brings together researchers working across this field to share their experience and discuss advanced techniques. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- New distributed algorithm for security controlling
- New distributed system with security algorithm
- Distributed trust models
- Distributed network security services
- Trusted P2P systems
- Distributed safe routing
- Social network security
- Biometric authentication used in distributed networks
- Traditional algorithms and methods for network security used in distributed network

Submissions:
        Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. Each paper should follow the IEEE format with title, author's names, affiliation, email addresses, an up to 150-word abstract, and a two-column body with 4 single-spaced pages and with font size at 10 points. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format only and be mailed to liutianhua@sina.com or tanzhenhua192@126.com.


The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE press and indexed by EI.

Important Dates:
The deadline for paper submission: May 31, 2010
The date for notification or reviewing result: July 31, 2010
The deadline for camera-ready paper submission: August 31, 2010
