Invited Session on
Systems and Algorithms for Telematics Applications (SATA)

With the increasing capabilities in wireless telecommunication and information processing, the developments of telematics have acquired tremendously advancements in recent years. The objective of this invited session is to bring together researchers from academia and industry to share and discuss the state-of-the-art in telematics applications with emphasis on its systems and algorithms. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Innovation systems and algorithms for telematics applications,
  • Telecommunication technologies for telematics applications,
  • Multimedia processing in telematics systems,
  • Human-machine interface in telematics systems,
  • Safety and security in telematics systems,
  • Telematics services for travelers,
  • Implementation of telematics' devices,
  • Traffic monitoring systems,
  • Telematic in environment protection,

 

Submissions:
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. Each paper should follow the IEEE format with title, author's names, affiliation, email addresses, an up to 150-words abstract, and a two-column body with 4 single-spaced pages and with font size at 10 pts. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format only and be mailed to: Prof. Shi-Huang Chen at shchen@ieee.org.

Deadline for paper submission: May 31st, 2010
Notification of acceptance: July 31st, 2010
Deadline for camera-ready manuscript submission: August 31st, 2010
