Invited Session on Advances in Information Security

Session Organizer: Dr. Ya-Fen Chang

We are organizing an invited session on Advances in Information Security for ICGEC-2010, which will be held in Shenzhen, China on December 13-15, 2010. This session deals with new technologies and research on information security. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Security of next generation Operating Systems
  2. Secure and resilient network protocols
  3. Theoretical foundations and mechanisms for privacy, security, trust
  4. Mobile network security
  5. Vulnerabilities of existing protocols and applications
  6. Key distribution/management
  7. Intrusion detection and response
  8. Secure protocol configuration and deployment
  9. Improved ability to certify system security properties
  10. Improved ability to analyze security designs, build systems correctly
  11. More effective system monitoring, anomaly detection, attack recognition and defense
  12. Integrating hardware and software for security

Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. Each paper should follow the IEEE format with title, author's names, affiliation, email addresses, an up to 150-words abstract, and a two-column body with 4 single-spaced pages and with font size at 10 pts. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format only and be mailed to: Dr. Ya-Fen Chang at cyf@ntit.edu.tw

Deadline for paper submission: May 31st, 2010
Notification of acceptance: July 31st, 2010
Deadline for camera-ready manuscript submission: August 31st, 2010
